YeAH, I do enjoy it. However I rarely have one bun that lasts all day. If it does survive the morning, it usually comes down when I take my daily nap. bout three times a day is my average bun redo. I enjoy fixing it most times.

I haven't been wearing my senza limiti small fork almost at all since it's not quite what I like on many of my styles, and it's quite small, but today I noticed it looks da bomb with a simple side cinnabun, which has been my fav style lately but I have been a bit taken back that I always need to secure it with spin pins. So two tofus at one strike, I get to use this special hair toy and I get to wear my fav style with something else than spin pins. The silver swirl of the fork is places at a really flattering spot with side bun, visible from slightly angled front/side view also and not just from the back. :thumbsup:

I have had several up dos I started trying to do a flip with my new clip beak...failed...did a cinnabun and went to do chores. Down for nap and then started playing with the new moon. I've had 4 fails and finally got a flip bun to hold for a while with the moon and now I am wearing a Celtic knot with the moon. But to get it to hold I had to slip it under some hair on the back of my head below the bun otherwise it just wants to flip up like horns.

Aredhel, I do not know how you do it. I will never wear it if I have to use an elastic.

In the morning I'm putting it into a sock bun. The back of my hair is going to be French rope braided from nape to crown and the rest pulled back into a high pony with the braid. Unravel the tail of the braid, stick on the bun form, fan hair, and pop another hair tie on top of that. Lace rope braid the extra hair! It sounds complicated but I'd be surprised if it took longer than 10 minutes.

I figured out a lvely new bun the otherday. It's some sort of knot bun, I think a celtic knot variation. I do it in a frame bun style, where I form the knot from half up and wrap the lower half around it. It's pretty nice looking!

Southern Tease Bun. I recommend everyone trying this, might work best for shorter lengths. Tutorial in Shells blog. It doesn't put pressure on front hair line at all, is very gentle, there is no twisting, can be secured in numerous ways, looks nice and gives a bit of lift at the crown without teasing too.
