I decided to wear my hair in a headband today when I went to work. A customer, elderly woman gave me a nice compliment. She said that I have pretty hair and that it's really long. First compliment I have gotten since I had the big cut last year. It's almost to the length it was, before I had the big cut. Just glad I have about 3-4 inches to reach waist.

I just washed my hair and it is down air drying. I didn't even comb it after shower for some hair typing help. I used a bar shampoo and ACV rinse no conditioner etc Normally I would have combed it and put in a wee bit of coconut oil. Right now my hair is a snarly mess :-(

I'm not sure about that! I seem to have damage on my ends from braid elastics. I think as long as you don't get in a pony-tail rut, you'll be fine. :thumbsup:

Yesterday's "down and loose" style lasted until mid afternoon. I ended up making a braid on each side of my part to keep my bangs out of my eyes. The braids just hung loose, and I felt like a show pony at the county fair. :)

Today: Side braid gathered into a LWB held with glittery diy fork. (It's a piece of aluminum rod bent like a dpn, with a couple of coats of sparkely nail polish.)

Put a victory roll in front, and Gibson tuck in the back. (I've had trouble with Gibson tucks for a while--the ends would poke through the pocket. I wore mine in a really lazy, lazy wrap bun today... meaning I just didn't even think about it. I simply threw it up in a quick bun and forgot about it all day, didn't care what it looked like. BUT yesterday I wore it in a very nicely done cinnamon bun held with pins, and it was really pretty. I know it's a simple style, but sometimes the simple ones are the best. Super comfy because it was held with pins, which distribute the weight better than any toys I have tried. My cinnamon bun is starting to get enough coil going on to look pretty and interesting. I'm loving it!

A weird sort of half-bun thing.
It's like, if you want to make a ponytail but only pull your hair halfway through so the ends are sticking up. I bought a few yards of fold-over elastic and they came in today! Even if it ends up not being the "super-gentle-hair tie" is supposed to be, I can see it being great for people who want hair ties just a little shorter or longer than usual, all you have to do is cut your elastic pieces shorter or longer before you tie them!

washed, combed and dried last night with a heavy side part, the part starts on the right side about an inch or so above the ear, it'd be a comb over if i was a guy with thin hair lol, but after it dried and i slept on it it looks really cute. It confused hubby though whom could only repeatedly ask if i cut my hair, and that i looked weird! He wouldnt believe the only thing i did was change the part haha

I washed it and wore it brushed out. Had to pin my bangs because they really should be curled before I leave the house.

I washed it yesterday, but it ended up very dry. Yesterday night I sprayed some diluted coconut oil on the length, and a few drops of jojoba oil on the ends. Looks a lot better! I'm wearing it in a relatively neat gibson tuck. I want to get my hair out of my neck - it's so warm here!
