Hello everyone,
I am new here and so I would like to write something about myself.
I started to care more about my hair in 2012 when I joined a long hair community forum in my country which helped so much. I started measuring my hair at that time and I started on approx. 57 cm (not long enough for me lol). I also started to study ingredients in my hair care products and as time went I avoided silicones and parabens. I also oiled my hair with olive and coconut oil.
And so my hair started growing and began healthier than it was ever before. Now my length is 91 cm / 35,8 inch. It was longer but I had to cut about 6 inches since the ends were really thin and and split. I must admit that last 3 years I didn't care for my hair as much as I wish I had but I would like to come back to it now. I hadn't oil my hair for those years and the only thing which I did was washing them with shampoo and CO.
I use shampoos and COs without -cones, parabens and almost without SLS, SLES.
I would like to come back to my previous hair care routine including oiling hair, combing them properly, etc.
As to my hair goal length - I'd rather have healthy hair and will see where it can grow.
If you have any advice on moisturizing hair properly please let me know.
Please also apologize my English since I'm not native speaker.

Welcome ~ your hair is beautiful
My hair needs moisture and I use Joico Moisture shampoo and conditioner and do a version of Lapushka's LOC Method after it has been in a turban for 15 minutes.
I apply a dab of conditioner to my ends, followed by a few drops of an oil blend (or just mineral/baby oil) and then a few drops of Biosilk Lite Serum.
As needed for cold weather wispies, I may reapply a wee bit of the serum, or spritz with rosewater and glycerin; my hair is too fine to use much oil, or any after it dries.
Good luck to you ~ happy growing![]()
