What a fantastic decision your hair looks much more healthy overall and still keeping looking long and beautiful!
So I've been dealing with horrible scraggly ends that were increasingly Velco-y and resistant to every intervention I tried. I've been slowly cutting out damage from heat styling and dye for a while now, and I'm pretty sure this was the last of it!!! I ended up cutting off six inches, from just classic to tailbone. It was a tough decision but my hair looks and feels soooooo much better

That's quite a bit of length to lose, but in the first pic, you can almost see the velcro-y ends, so yes, all in all: good decision! It looks really shiny and nice!
Your hair looks great! So healthy and shiny!! And it looks really good after the trim- it seems like it helped a lot
