This is how it happens here... We smoosh the first conditioner in, then we let it soak for 2 minutes. Rinse. Then the second (different) conditioner goes in, and it soaks for another 2 minutes. Rinse. Then the hair is squeegeed out and is wrapped into a turbie. After it gets out of the turbie, it's detangled (yes before leave-in and such). After detangling comes styling. My styling is according to the LOC method.

My first conditioner is usually a "bad" conditioner or one that I don't care particularly about. One I have laying around that isn't too coney or doesn't detangle too well. Then my second conditioner is always (for now at least) Herbal Essences Hello Hydration. It's a great detangler for me.

My hair doesn't need much in the way of "detangling". The comb always glides through without a snatch. That's what I particularly love about this method: silky hair!

WCC was my wash routine before I came on here, similar to the method you're describing. And sometimes WCCC!! I also frequently used a different and higher quality/heavier conditioner for the second condition. This worked better than any other method I'd tried up to that point, and I'd just kind of stumbled across it accidentally. Before my recent trim, it was the only way that I could sort-of smooth out my ends to a relatively acceptable level as they were super dry before and I had no other solution. Now I'm trying out CWC to see how it works for me, and am excited to try the different options for dry ends I'm learning about on here.

I tried CWC first for a while, and then switched the conditioners around as my shampoo was drying and I thought... why not? That's how it got started. I'm glad you're trying out different methods. Sometimes we need to switch it up some.
