I'm officially in this for 150 days! Let's see how I do. Right now I just know how to do a lot of braids (rope, English, French, Dutch, fishtail) and the LWB. I have no hairsticks or hair forks YET but am working on it! Super pumped for this :)

Day 2 is just another LWB for me. I have a nice octopus/claw clip that is super comfy to hold my hair. It's not all that pretty, so it's great for weekend wear in my opinion. :)
I feel like I desperately need to invest in a hair fork in order to do more buns and stuff. :)

Just popping in to say I am officially joining this thread until the end of the year...I wear my hair up 99% of the time anyway to protect the ends, but am joining to give myself a reason to keep wearing it up when I have lazy moments. I plan on wearing my hair up 24/7 except on wash days, where i will leave it down until it's dry if I have the time, or at least not sopping wet. I usually wear simple updos during the day, swapping between cinnabuns and lazy wraps except for special occasions, and switch to braids at night.

For the challenge factor I am trying to keep my hair covered until the end of the year. There is a lot of damage at my ends from what I think is sun and friction from braids rubbing against clothes and sheets. I have a few silk and satin scarves and have been experimenting with ways to wear them over my buns during the day, and getting them to stay on at night. Hopefully I can see a difference by January!

I've been so tempted by this challenge but also a bit scared. I've always worn my hair down at all times and feel a bit naked without it. Day 41: DOWN! I WORE MY HAIR DOWN TO SCHOOL PEOPLE. AAAAAAHHHHH. Everyone started touching it and saying how soft and shiny and pretty and long it was. NEVER wearing my hair down to school again. Ever. That was traumatizing.
The MOMENT I got home I found my fave claw clip and got rid of my hair. I don't think I've ever been so happy to put my hair up. LOL.
