So here we go: day one - hair is up in a bun. It's the only bun I know and my hair isn't long enough to experiment yet. Not sure what it's called but I gathered my hair into a ponytail, got my scrunchy and put it around the base of the tail. Then I stretched the scrunchy and pulled the hair gathered in the ponytail outwards away from my head and the scrunchy caught the ends of that hair, leaving me with a bun. If that makes sense! Very basic.

Im joining this challenge until August in an attempt to focus on health and condition of my hair and scalp instead of length.
I will most likely alternate between the lazy wrap, cinnabun and a topknot. Boring, but they are my go-to styles. I have heaps of hairtoys to keep me occupied though. Im going to try and do a braid updo once a week if possible while in this challenge, because I really need to practice my braiding. I don't like braids too much atm because of thinness and layers, so we shall see how we go.

Wonderful challenge. Tomorrow is day 1, when I start. I'm going for 3 months- up until the 4th of July. Yay! Maybe then I can post pictures!

Tomorrow will be two crazy buns. And I just got a pair of hairsticks (I gave all my hair stuffs away when I cut it off) so I can practive using them! Woo-hoo!

You guys are very brave, btw! I can only wear my hair up a couple days in a row then have to wear it down for a day or two. I know it's better for Te ends to wear it up, but I guess my length vanity wins out. :D

Everybody has his own rules here. :) Buns are definitely better for your ends, but braids are still better than loose. I personnaly love braiding so I count braids in my challenge.

As others have said, braids count! Also, you could always do a mix :) Say, three buns a week and four braids. That way you would be mostly wearing comfortable braids, but you'd also have a chance to practice or try out new buns :flower:

Also, you can always switch styles mid-day if one gets uncomfortable.
