Mine is only 5" but I have a hard enough time. I could imagine what it's like to live with 7 or 8.

Only 5 inches. Over 4 inches is a lot; 5 certainly is that! I don't think there's many with 7 or 8. At least not in my experience. I have seen 6 inches, but that's quite rare already.

Me it’s the opposite, I would trade my “scalp cleavage” and thin braids for heavy/non-doable buns anytime! haha.
But at least I’m able to grow my hair long so for that I’m grateful.

2 inches on the dot.

I twisted it for maximum compression after throughly detangling and measured tightly cause I did not want to pad my results.

I've been avoiding measuring for ages but I finally saw this poll at the same time I was near a measuring tape with my hair loose.

Guess I can go update my profile now that I know for sure.

You have to try at least! also having healthier hair is important which is something this place taught me as well, so it’s not only the length.

Guys, if you have ii and are complaining, try and think of those with i hair on this forum. What are they supposed to do? My mom has i now though, and when she still was ii, she was fine, but as it got thinner she of course remembered what it was like before.

I think any thickness or "thinness" is pretty and worth it! And can grow long!

About 3 inches (7.5 cm). It's very hard to me to measure it because I had a sidecut until 2 years ago and it is still not simple at all to take all the hair together (I also have some old layers) but I think I did it well

Just over 4inches, not including my bangs so I guess that puts me firmly into the iii/thick category. Wasn't sure when I was doing up my profile haha. My measurement seems to change all the time too but 4inches has been the lowest I've gotten.

Not sure where all this thickness came from though. I am the only one in my family with this much hair on either side for 3 generations. No one understands my pain
