Welcome; loved your intro. Love the "chewy" explanation. LOL We love home remedies as well, but still stick to mainstream stuff when we "should", well we feel we should anyway.
Enjoy your time here!
I've tried doing an intro thread twice, and it didn't post, so fingers crossed it works this time.
Me: 41-year-old SAHM, I homeschool and tutor dyslexic students in my (limited) free time. I'm a die-hard henna head, I like using “natural” remedies when I can but I also use mainstream products. I call myself chewy (as opposed to crunchy); for example, I love my elderberry syrup, but I’m still getting the flu shot.
My hair: 1A/B-i Length: APL after a trim that was more of a cut. My goal: TBL. I’ve never had my hair longer than BSL and I’ve always been told that because my hair is so fine and thin that I couldn’t grow it past that. When my mom passed away last summer and we were going through photos, I found so many of her with long, classic length hair and it looked fantastic. She had the exact same hair type as I do, so clearly it can be done. So this is my quest: long, flowing locks to honor my mom.

Howdy, nice to meet you! Sad to hear about your mom, but this sounds like a great way to remember her. And I love the term "chewy" used in this sense ( ;
