Extra buttons?

Did the forum get a minor upgrade or settings change while I've been mostly offline the past week? I first noticed a "Promote to article" option at the bottom of every blog post sometime today. Now I'm also seeing that and a "Blog this post" option on all posts. I don't think it was on posts earlier today... But my state currently makes me very uncertain either way on that. It definitely wasn't there last week, anyhow. And I haven't (quite!!) hit 1k posts to reach a new member level, either. Where'd they come from?

I had written to the mods last week, wanting to make my fenugreek photos into an article but not sure how. Neko discovered that, for this or that back-of-house reason, the article permissions were no longer functioning correctly. They figured out what was wrong and fixed it today (thank you!).

The "blog this post" option was there last week, though. I suppose the addition (reappearance?) of the "promote to article" button has made it more visually prominent.

Ah, that is possible. If it was in the position the article one is now, it's highly likely I just scrolled past it without seeing it, and only the fact of things being shoved into the post content "column" is why it caught my eye now.

At least I'm not losing it!
