Hello and welcome
Greetings everyone!
I am new here and have never been here before. My current hair situation is that of a damaged one. I have been a platinum/silver blonde since 2015. My hair has always been thick, healthy and growing fast. Believe it or not, but my hair was quite healthy (as healthy as bleached hair can be) the first 2 years. In 2017 I began experimenting with heat tools after being no-heat for almost my whole life. Can you imagine the consequences? My hair simply could not take it, and went from thick, soft and smooth to starting breaking and drying out. I only used heat for 6 months and the results are still destroying my hair to this day.
After no heat for almost 3 years, my hair is still suffering the consequences. The breakage that heat caused, has travelled far up and is affecting my healthier, grown out hair. I have no choice but to go back to my natural hair colour if I want to keep my long hair and grow it longer.
My current hair length is a waist length, but my final goal is classic!

No Water Sebum Only since November 2020. Previously water only. Crossed to the dark side and now rocking sebum only. Feral hair nirvana loading...
Welcome! What is your natural colour? I'm sure it will look lovely on you
.
Thank you! My natural hair colour was ranging from between level 6-8 in different parts of my hair. In the back of my head it was around level 6, while the pieces framing my face was around level 8. But overall, I'd say my hair was a dark ash blonde. I remember it was also quite cool-toned, with little to no red-tones.
Hello and welcome to the forum!
A dark ash is pretty! It took me a while to accept my ash color, though, always hated it (but now it's grown out all virgin). And right at the time that I started accepting it, gray bits popped up. So hang on to your own color the best you can, because before you know it, it's all gone, and if you don't like the gray, you have no choice but to dye. As long as you don't have to, I say, don't!
Welcome!
