First post, hi!

Hello people!

I've been lurking on this website without an account for a long while, figured I'd finally break down and introduce myself. I'm a writer and avid reader who really has an interest in hair care.

I've had hair slightly longer than this before a couple years ago and in a bout of depression cut it off and dyed it because I was tired of the upkeep. I wanted to regain some feeling of control of my life and, at the time, my hair was the most fulfilling way to do it psychologically. My hair was so healthy it didn't even have baby hairs, what was I thinking! Oh well, I donated it to a charity that makes wigs for children so I can't feel too bad. In reality I don't really feel too regretful with that decision, I still currently dye it. (I am only going to be dying the roots from now on.) I think I missed being able to do different hair styles the most. I'll admit my hair certainly isn't as healthy (or thick) as it was back then, but I suppose the dye has something to do with that.

Currently, my hair is a fraction of inch from tail bone length. This time I'm looking to try and grow it out to classic length. Just because I want to feel like a princess, lol. Some of you guys have gorgeous princess hair and I want to achieve that level of loveliness.
