Hello and welcome to the forum! You have lovely hair
Hi everyone! I'm so happy to have found this community and for the opportunity to become a part of it!
For about a year now I've been sulfate and cone free, and have recently become interested in henna. After reading through the forum, I'm now also interested in growing my hair long because I now feel hope. I assumed long hair was not an option for me (the longest I've gotten is to my armpits before it becomes too dry, limp and damaged to ignore) but I am learning that I am a curly girl, my hair needs tons of moisture, and it is semi-fine so I have to be careful about not weighing it down.
After weeks of research, last night I decided to dip my toe into the world of henna and did a cassia treatment. I'm going to share my before and after photos (to also experiment with adding photos to my posts).
Recipe: 10g Clarity cassia, 50g senna, 1g amla, 1g Jamila henna. 30 minute dye release with room temp distilled water. Washed hair with clarifying shampoo, applied to damp hair and left on for 2 hours.

I'm a bit more yellow, and there's a difference in the texture; the strands feel more dense - I love it!
I'm running a lot of strand tests with henna/cassia/indigo/amla combos and would love to share my findings.
