TheNonniCat here!
Hello everyone, I'm Nonni!
I had very long hair when I was a little girl and ended up cutting it short when I entered into my teens, and for some time after that my head resembled a mushroom cap. I let it grow out a little, and then after a boyfriend who always said he preferred long hair dumped me, I cut it to pixie-length half out of spite. I've been growing it out inconsistently for about eight years since then. It is now a little bit past my hips, home-cut into a v-shape, and pretty darn thick.
I'm on the constant hunt for ways to make it look fairytale-ish. Currently contending with a dry texture and a pretty constant halo of frizz.
Looking forward to hearing other peoples' journeys and getting advice!

I also would like to point out I'm aware that I joined in 2018. What can I say, I was too shy to say anything and a bunch of life changes came up around that time, and I forgot about the community for a while.

Welcome (back).
If you don't mind layering your hair, and it is thick (iii), you might like my haircut (signature) which is tapered due to heavy layering. It is different for making updo's afterwards though, so there is that! It is a home cut. The "unicorn" cut as they jokingly say.

Re: TheNonniCat here!
Thanks Lapushka! I try to do my own layers s well. I admit that sometimes I wish to decrease my waves, though, and am considering transitioning to one-length. Lol, why is it called the unicorn?
