Call me shallow but long hair on men is the bees knees and a big factor of attractiveness for me.
But in saying that it depends on how it suits them and if they take care of it
Partner is male, 6’4” and his hair is finally reaching waist length on him.
I don’t have a blanket preference. Individually, I prefer that Partner keeps his hair long. Generally, I prefer my partner’s hairstyle to be comfortable for them.
That said, I like short buzz cuts better on feminine presenting people.

It doesn't matter to me. I can find anything from terminal length to buzzcut attractive. Most important to me is that she actually likes me.
I think it looks nice if men have a little bit longer hair. If I was dating someone, though, I would start to get very competitive if they had longer or nicer hair than me. I’m not sure that would be good for the relationship.
I appreciate any hair at my age but my man doesn’t have much so shaved it and that’s fine with me. He’s my man so I love and accept him as is.
My husband and I are both indifferent to what each other wants to do with our hair. But being rather poor I did talk him into growing his to shoulder so I could cut it at home!
Reached my goal of knee length/50 inches. Now seeing how long it will go! Long Hair Carolyn on YouTube
I'm attracted to longer hair on men, definitely. I've been with my partner for 12 years and I've only seen him with short hair in photos. He suits it longer and it's around mid-back (hip stretched). I do like longer short hair though, when it's a few inches long.
I have a friend who had virgin 1a tailbone length hair which was gorgeous - he cut it short to donate and now it's growing back, it looks miles better. I don't think he suits short hair either!
I just like hair
I much prefer traditional short hair, and that is what my husband has. Works for us!
Most of my partners have had longer hair.
