Olaplex on henna?

Hi ladies, is it okay to use Olaplex on henna'd hair? I don't see why not but I thought I'd be safe and ask!

I have no idea. Maybe test it on a strand of your hair (shed hair) first, see what it does?

I did it on my hennaed hair and it was totally fine. That stuff turns your hair to straight silk!

That's really good to know. I think I need to find a supplier.

ETA - which one did you use, and how? I was thinking of trying the No. 3 treatment. I don't want to mix anything else with my henna, but would definitely try something I could use when washing.

I used No. 3, left it in for hours. The bottle says 15 minutes I think, but I've found that a minimum of 45 is best. I had my hennaed hair permanently straightened using the Japanese straight perm method, and then a week later did an Olaplex No 3 treatment. It helped a lot since the straightening treatment is extremely damaging. I was able to henna after the olaplex and it dyed the same as ever, which was something I had been concerned about at the time.

Forgot to mention, I didn't use olaplex with my henna treatments. I used them after shampooing on damp, towel dry hair. I then covered with a swim cap to keep the hair moist during the process. Didn't henna till like a week or two after that.
