How Do You Deep Condition?
Do you deep condition before or after washing your hair?
I realize doing a treatment before could be considered a "pre-poo" but since I'm no-poo I count it as a deep condition.
I like to deep condition before because I hate getting in and out of the shower multiple times.

I voted "other". During. I wash in a sink, so my hair is washed, then conditioner is applied. Rinsed. Conditioner is applied again, and rinsed. I use the WCC method and sometimes use either the Hello Hydration as my second C or a mask of some kind. Sometimes lighter masks end up as a first C. It depends. But it all gets applied for 2/3 min. during the "washing cycle".

Other: I do both. Sometimes I apply conditioner to my length in the C for CWC on dry hair, and sometimes I coat entirely in coconut oil. I count pre poo or pre washing with coconut oil as deep conditioning, because it does penetrate and protect hair pretty well in my experience. I sometimes also leave a thick conditioner on my hair under a plastic cap for around 10 minutes with the heating cap, and sometimes up in a clip for 5 minutes in the shower. It all really depends how lazy I am :P

Accidentally chose the wrong option. I do a water rinse, then put in the deep condition overnight and shampoo it out in the morning.

I like to deep condition my hair after each wash. My hair behaves much better if I deep condition after I shampoo. Or, even Co-wash with a cheap conditioner.

Definitely before, I put in the conditioner and leave it in for an hour or so. Then a light shampoo followed by my regular conditioner.
I just started oiling my ends (my poor, poor dry ends) in coconut oil the night before I S/C. I guess it kind of counts as a CWC...

I like having as little as possible under the deep conditioner so I'll do it after clarifying. But I'm reintroducing color into my routine so I think I'll clarify, deposit only dye, then deep condition. It's been a process to say the least :P

I voted before because I was thinking about how I DC my lengths while I henna my roots. But then I remembered that sometimes I do a shorter DC in the shower, after shampoo'ing.
So I guess a little of both!
