I wonder how long could YOU survive without trimming your hair/having your hair trimmed.
I remember going 2 years before i needed to cut my hair. I didn't think that much about my hair back then though.
By the way, S&D does not count.

I voted more than 3 years, but it may well have been more than 10, I don't really remember. From about 1982 until 2000 and something the only time I trimmed my hair was when some disaster happened to the end of my braid.
My hair was trimmed last (cut into layers) November 2013. So that's little over a year now. I plan to continue onto classic length, so another year of no trimming is in my future.
Third week January 2015 and I'll have gone 4 years with no trims or S&D.
Last June (2013) was when i last had a trim.
I had a salon trim this June and I probably won't ever go back to a salon now that I've been converted to the cheese side. But I'll probably trim it myself within a year or two.

Ive trimmed the ends in the back of my hair once maybe 1/2 inche some time last spring. No plans until next year...my plans have changed so much this last year.
Who knows what I'm gonna do with my hair anymore...
The longest was a year; from July 2013 to July of this year. My last trim wasn't really much of a trim, maybe 3/4" at most and all I did was cut the point and a few of the longer hairs. Unless my hair looks like it needs it, I don't plan to trim until I reach waist, longer if my hemline doesn't look too bad.
I didn't trim my hair for over 3 years a while back. Now I'm maintaining so trimming is required for that.
