How long since you went to the salon/hairdresser?

I want to say it's been since mid-2018. I started trimming my own hair around that time out of equal parts laziness, frugality, and general dissatisfaction with pretty much every haircut I've ever had.

A little over a month haha. I got a glorified trim and had my hair chopped to a blunt all-one-length chin-length bob w/ no bangs, because I was tired of what was left of my buzzcut layers.
The longest layers had been bottom-of-neck length before the trim, so it wasn't a super huge change or anything, but still a lot of length to lose when I'm in this phase of growing.
This has been a really great move for me though, this hair style suits me so much better, it is far more flattering than it was before even though it's shorter.

I more than likely won't be getting any more haircuts for at least until 2022. I doubt I'll even trim, unless it actually seems necessary. I know a lady who's a hairdresser though, watched her cut my mom's hair today.
She knows the struggle of trying to grow and having people take off 6 inches when you asked for a dusting. She plays it safe and goes slowly. I know exactly who will be doing my next trim

It's been 4 years. The hairdresser used a dull razor to cut my strands which caused a bloody scalp. He ripped out a third of my hair. That was my last time ever going to a hair salon.

Last time was in 2012... maaaybe early 2013?? I had bleached my hair and it was all unevenly cut and they fixed it and dyed it dark brown. Then I started growing it. I trim my own hair and when I don't my mom, who used to cut hair and manage a salon, does it. But not so much anymore, its a 10 hr drive...

Five years ago in july 2015. I had just cut my ends. After, I tried to trim myself and it was okay so I continue.

OMG, when I go back, it has to be at *least* 5 to 10 years. When I last went I had a perm done. That was... gosh, ages ago.

Last time I had a trim at the hair dressers was January 2018. Just to even up the mullet look. I just went this past Saturday to have my hair styled for 40th anniversary photos. I liked the gal that “did” my hair, but won’t be going back to anyone any time soon. I’m now nursing my hair after all of the heat that was used. 🙄
