Calling people who are annoyed having every single page load/post go through two extra steps Ungrateful is a bit mean?
The issue is almost making the site unusable. It clearly shows alot are put off by it.
Activity seems to have been halved ever since it started

Why would you see this as an attack. It wasn't. And the site isn't unusable, it's just another few steps. Wow.

I think the experience is different according to each user’s settings. For example, I only need to go through a couple of extra steps once a week or once a fortnight, so that’s a very minor inconvenience. It seems that some people have to go through that constantly, or can’t get on at all.

Yes, as I mentioned, if I browse from my phone, 0 issues, but my laptop makes me click through every single time. Which is somewhat annoying, so I've definitely been using my phone more to access the site and post pics especially, but it's not completely unusable from a computer.

Yep, I haven't been on for a couple weeks 'cause my computer had a meltdown every time I tried but it's okay now.

I just remove the battery when the smoke detector gets too annoying. Figuratively of course (by changing browser settings)

I since updated my OS, updated my browser, so I thought let's see, but there's no more "complaints" from Firefox. So I think it's A-OK, all better.
