So I have three sons and they've always kept short hair. But my 9 year old has grown his hair out for 9 months and it's curly! Our hair loves the beach. We don't know why he's blonde, we both have dark hair lol.

2 years of hair growth with zero trims! Just S&D in between. But will trim soon. Maybe once I hit hip length.

Your hair looks really wonderful, and I agree that the light is great in this picture. I've warned hairdressers in the past as well, it's definitely not something most of them see every day. What are you planning on having her do?

I'm growing out bangs now and find that discouraging but I was kinda feelin' my hair yesterday after washing it so here we are.

Not short enough to be swoopy, not long enough to be layered back into the rest of your hair. Courage! If it makes you feel any better, I'm only at middle-of-the-ear length with mine and :sigh: they're already making me crazy.

Thank you! They're not *terribly* bothersome, luckily. I mostly wear high buns, or French braid them back, and that works pretty well. I was glad when they started reaching a bun without having to braid first! And I think they're cutest right after washing when they dry tucked behind my ears and have a little bend in them. Wash days are pretty much the only time I wear my hair down and they're visible, so that's good. Trying to look on the bright side.
