So I have three sons and they've always kept short hair. But my 9 year old has grown his hair out for 9 months and it's curly! Our hair loves the beach. We don't know why he's blonde, we both have dark hair lol.

Shorty, everything about your bun is so pretty. Shine, color, and your braid is so thick. And the fork is super cute too!

Love the burgundy color. And your bun skills are awesome. The brown of the hair fork really brings out the reddish/violet tones.

Zesty, your hair is so goals.
Death-Within-Me, your hair grows so quickly! Do you know how many inches that is?

One of my spirals was really sproingy after washing.

What a perfect spiral, Growling. How long is your hair now? - I seem to recall you cut off quite a bit last year?

2 years of hair growth with zero trims! Just S&D in between. But will trim soon. Maybe once I hit hip length.
for heaven's sake, Death, that's really impressive.

I'm growing out bangs now and find that discouraging but I was kinda feelin' my hair yesterday after washing it so here we are.

Yessss Zesty it looks so good!!! You're currently at (what always feels to me to be) the hardest length in the growing-out-bangs process. Not short enough to be swoopy, not long enough to be layered back into the rest of your hair. Courage! If it makes you feel any better, I'm only at middle-of-the-ear length with mine and :sigh: they're already making me crazy.

Thank you! They're not *terribly* bothersome, luckily. I mostly wear high buns, or French braid them back, and that works pretty well. I was glad when they started reaching a bun without having to braid first! And I think they're cutest right after washing when they dry tucked behind my ears and have a little bend in them. Wash days are pretty much the only time I wear my hair down and they're visible, so that's good. Trying to look on the bright side.
