Straight and slippery, but silky. I'd be lost if I suddenly had coarse hair!

My natural hair colour is pretty hated in my native geographical area, but tends to get praise from many other places in the world.

Personally, I've grown to like it. It's comparable to the agouti colouring of wild animals that wish to blend in; wolves could be close to the same colour albeit with a little more grey, usually. Perhaps, when I start greying, I will be wolf-coloured.

I'm sad that my hair is so fine and thin that it just breaks off and it's hard to gain length.

But, I like how silky soft it is and I like my natural colour.

More attention to my texture, the little texture I have. Wish it were curly, but it isn't. That is my one regret, but there are some perks to wavy hair. My hair is currently thinner than it used to be; broke it off from too much "protective" styling. Actually it's quite nice to see how the other half lives, for a change; my hair has always been thick, fine but a lot of it. So now it's different. We'll see how it goes from here on out, but it does look like it's growing in nicely.

The good side? It's very voluminous and it never looks the same twice, so it's an adventure. Pretty fun I suppose!

My ends are a lighter color than the rest of my hair from dye years ago, but they don't seem to split any more than a normal strand so they help me know I'm taking good care of my hair
