Yeah a lot of the time I can't even see the name of the company on them. For a while I was actually getting ads for an online violin shop I've used before, which was nice for a change, but even then I'd rather type in the web address myself than click on an ad that might not be trustworthy.

Are you sure that's how it works on LHC? Because I knot that some pages get paid by how many people views the ads and not by clicks.
I'm not sure. I don't even look at ads-- my brain kind of filters them out-- so I haven't a clue.

By views I don't mean actually looking at them, but just the fact that they are visible on the screen.

Right. But it still avails advertisers nothing.

I think psychology proves you wrong. Once seen, the seed has been planted in your head and you subconsciously become more likely to purchase that product

This may possibly work for targeted ads in general, on a population level, but half the time the adverts for me are for things I've already researched *and bought* (either the brands showing up, or bought elsewhere) - then there are loads for hair salons, hair transplants, wigs, which I will NEVER buy
Length goal well and truly met, now just seeing how it grows ...

Maybe other people's psychology. Not mine. As I said, I am interested in about 5% of ads I see, and usually because that's for products I already use.

For a psyche as unique as your own, I'm sure that's true.

But advertising is a numbers game played over a population and the power of suggestion is well known.

Yeah, well, doesn't work on me either. Maybe Kat & I are a breed apart.
