Thank you, Madora. Alas, the sleekness doesn't last. I had literally combed and brushed my hair seconds before it was taken. A moment later it was tangled and bunched up on my shoulders on either side of my head.

Second picture: One thins I've desperately missed about having long hair was the ability to wear HUGE hair accessories. Today I popped a 4" flower into my hair and it looked just right. I love having (most of) my hair back.

My hair was down today. (A rare occasion.) I caught a glimpse of the ends as I leaned over to pick something up in front of the window. I was shocked how different the color looks in direct sunlight. It almost appears to be glowing! The pictures don't really capture it, but it was the best I could do with my phone's camera. (Those aren't white dots on the ends, that is light reflection.)
