Hi everyone! I am a 23 year old who is growing my hair out for the first time. Growing up I always had my hair in a bob (and even a pixie cut for a little while that I hated). Sometimes my hair would grow past my shoulders and I felt beautiful, but since I had no idea how to take care of my hair, it always overwhelmed me until I cut it again.

Despite that I always dreamed of beautiful long blonde hair. In 2020 I decided to stop cutting my hair, but it was only earlier this year that I actually started taking really good care of it. I have also learned to do a lot of things I never learned to do as a kid - things as simple as braiding my own hair! My hair is currently waist length but I plan on growing it basically as long as it'll go. My current goal is tailbone length, but if it keeps wanting to grow past that, I won't stop it! Maybe I'll have hair as long as the character from my username someday...

My hair is 1b and has been lightened by one level so I am very careful with it. I currently wash it once a week using Olaplex shampoo and conditioner. I also use Olaplex bonding oil on the ends every night and a scalp oil before I shower. I sleep in protective styles on a silk pillowcase.
