Just wanted to say welcome!
Hi there! I'm Anna. I'm (nearly) 31 and from Central Kentucky. I've been interested in growing my hair out for well over a decade but I hesitated to let it get past arm pit length. After taking the plunge, I'm now comfortably at waist length. I will be having a bit of a chop soon as I've noticed some thinning at the ends and a few hairs poking out when I braid it. My goal is to eventually get to classic length.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting to know the community, getting some tips, and sharing my own.
Feel free to ask if you have any questions!

Hi, welcome here! Just so you know, it's normal for your ends to get thinner as your hair gets longer and it doesn't mean there's anything wrong. Also, because you always have new hairs growing to replace those that fall out, those shorter hairs will always poke out of a braid. It's called braid shred, and it's normal too - we all get it!

Welcome! I am new here too. My hair is a bit shorter than yours, almost BSL.
Welcome!
Thank you, everyone, for the warm welcome.
