Wow Agava, your hair toy reminds me of sleek Scandinavian design with its minimalist, clean lines and natural wood style! Very cool!

Also your hair color it is one of my favorites, its so multidimensional with its natural highlights and range of shades. Stunning.

Agava! Your updo is beautiful, and I love love love your haircolour! Is that all natural or do you have highlights? Looks like you have really long hair

How in the world... I honestly didn't think that was possible with hair that short. Thanks for sharing and now I have to try that when I get home!

Thank you all for so nice compliments! It means a lot to me, and it says that I'm on a good path with my hair.

Blonde and honey-like strands are dyed highlights. My natural hair colour is only in roots ( almost 6 months dye free) and nape (completely dye free). It looks a bit reddish on the photo but it is just neutral or/and just a bit ashy.

    Really nice updo agava!

Haven't checked this thread for a while since I've been busy but it seems we're all in the same boat!
Me too I feel it's growing slowly and looking at my hemline makes me want to cut it straighter but because of not wanting to lose length I'll just don't.
In my case I definitely will not give up the monthly photo thing because at least it's a proof that it grows a bit every month even though I don't feel it does.
Just hang in there! Maybe in a few months it will definitely be more visible that the hair has grown and it could for sure be a good thing I you prefer checking it every couple of months.
Howe, even though it feels slow for ourselves, I always see growth when seeing others hair photos and then think that others hair grows so fast! Just perception for sure haha.
We'll get there sooner or later!

I think I might juuuust qualify, especially if I pull my hair, but I don’t want to rush into calling it. I want to be able to look at my hair sitting on the towel and be able to say “yep, I’m 100% without a doubt APL!” And have the measurements match up too.

I feel like that will make the journey to BSL feel easier somehow hahaha

I'm trying to challenge myself to only measure on the 30th of each month.

That being said... I asked BF to take a picture last night of towel test with brushed out soaking wet to see how far I have to go I wish it felt this close from the front when it's dry! I'm definitely going to have to call both my "stretched" and "unstretched" wurly lengths at each milestone. It doesn't look like I have long to APL from this, but I'd like to feel that way dry too

ETA: Can we all appreciate how huge my shoulders look here? No wonder this milestone feels like it takes forever, look how far it has to grow!!!
Hah hah, I always feel that way too when I look at length pictures at this length. You look sooooo close!

I have been feeling like my hair has been going nowhere but I took some towel pics today and I was pleasantly surprised. I have really been wanting to cut short lately so that is usually a sign that my hair has grown.. It's weird that way.

I feel the same way. I like to wait to call this milestone until its 100% no doubt. BSL is a long journey for me so every little bit helps!

I haven't been here in a while, kind of been trying not to think about my hair. I really started wanting to cut it the past few weeks so I decided to take some length pictures. It looked longer than I expected so I did the "towel test. My hair has grown! I can't believe it looks so long. It's so deceiving from the back, from the front it looks still like a long lob.
