Yes, I agree. Almendra, it looks like waist may be at the line you've designated as "MBL".

Actually, Almendra, your waist is a little below the yellow line, where your body nips in the strongest.

I agree. Technically you waist is where you are the narrowest. For some people it's up high by their bra straps and for others it's really close to their hips. On you, it looks like it's very very close to your BSL. I'd say you are well past waist.
    Final goal - hip length?

Thanks everybody. It looks like I'm at waist length after all. I can't believe it. Lyv I just check it and my elbows are between the yellow and the blue line. I'd upload a picture, but I'm not at home I guess I'm just weird for wear my bras in the waist.

You made my day, lovely ladies

I know that this is a completely subjetive thing, but, where do you think my waist is?
I lost it! (I gained so much weight this year )

I consider myself a MBL, because I know I use my bra lower than the usual. When I look my hair in the mirror or ask other people, they say me that I have like three or two inches more to go to achieve waist lenght. I always think this was correct. But today I take a picture (second one) and I compare with one that I take the last sunday with my hair dirty and it was so long that I was really confused. It is the same lenght in both pictures, I only compare these to see changes in angles and stuff. The first one was taken by my boyfriend, and I have my head inclined to the front. And the second one, by myself with a tripod, also my posture is better.
I compare these with so many lenght charts, but I'm still confused. I would like to see a chart with aproximate lenghts. Anybody have something like that?
Btw, my lenght is currently 37 " / 75 cm. I'm tall, but not so much: 5 ' 9 " / 1.75 cm. My legs are 39 " / 1 mt long (till the hip bones, included), so my torse and head are 29.3 " / 75 cm long.

So, what do you think? Is my waist in the green line?
I agree that your waist is high, just below the yellow line where your body is the narrowest. It's actually very defined--you didn't lose your waist when you gained weight, maybe it just moved higher than you have been used to. And yes, that means you are well past waist! Congratulations!!

Bodies are dynamic and unique--the ratios between the different distances between growth markers vary from person to person, and throughout a person's lifetime--as in, the distance from BSL to Waist on you is shorter than the distance from Waist to Hip, but for me Waist to Hip will be a shorter journey than BSL to Waist. (By an inch--I have a short torso (I am 5'2"), and BSL, waist and hip are all very close together on me.) And my elbows fall lower than my waist, too.

Thanks! I never thought it this way. When I say I gained weight, I mean A LOT of it... Like 88 pounds / 40kg (I suffer depression and it was really hard, but I'm better and working on lossing weight). So it really make sense to me that my waist could be higher than before, maybe one or two inches. Now the way to hip and tailbone will be really long, but I don't care, I never have my hair so long

Yes, I would agree that waist is the green line, and your bra line isn't really much lower than everyone's. Pretty hair!

Waist is the narrowest part of your body, so not the green line, obviously. Look at this chart for reference:

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better now! You don't look obese or anything to me. Seems like you must have been pretty small before. Take your time with losing the weight again, and be healthy about it. No need for fad diets, just eat whole foods and lots of vegetables, and your body--hair included--will thank you for it!

And yeah, to me it's really interesting how different peoples' bodies vary. I guess my pelvis is pretty long compared to my torso, because from APL to Hip for me it's just 2.5-3.5 inches between each milestone, but all of a sudden Hip to Tailbone is a whole 7 inches! (BCL being only an inch or two above TBL). I read about people with 5 or 6 inches between BSL and Waist, for example, and I'm all, woww...

I'm a little confused by how many people seem convinced your waist is at the green line, though. Do people not realize we're not talking about where your pants sit, here? Waist is the narrowest part of your torso.

ETA: the link lapushka provided is a little misleading as it has "hip" marked around where a dressmaker would put hip, and at what we call "classic length." As a hair growth milestone, "hip" generally means the top of your hip bones/pelvis/iliac crest. Also tailbone is kind of amiguous on that chart--it generally means the tip of your actual tailbone, which you can feel if you poke around in your buttcrack.
