UGGGGH MY HAIR.

It's been so dry lately that I've been trying my best to CO wash, oil, BBB, etc.. but it's rebelling now.

I think I need to clarify BUT I'm so worried about that drying it out even more. I have the infamous Biolage balm on its way to me, so I'm waiting until then before I clarify.

My hair feels dry, coarse, tangly, and it has no slip whatsoever despite it feeling coated.. But at least it's growing and showing off its true wave, right? :-\

I'm finding that, as my hair gets longer, my definition of reaching a goal is changing. When I was growing Shoulder to BSL, I considered myself "at" a goal if the longest sections reached that point when my hair was stretched. Now, I don't want to claim anything until I'm obviously at that length dried and unstretched FRESH after a wash... It's like my standards are getting stricter!

Example:
(My hair is way more cool-toned in this photo than it is IRL for some reason...? Plus, this is the 3rd day post-wash, so my hair's already 'stretched' more than it usually is)

Technically, based on the ridiculously exact milestone markers I've premeasured, I'm at MBL when my hair is stretched (assuming "MBL" = halfway between BSL and waist). But I FEEL that, yeah, duh, I'm still at BSL. Sigh. At least my hair is still growing...!

Here's my current hair length, freshly washed/dried/brushed hair so it's not a good representation of my 'natural' hair texture and especially the color. Try not to be jealous of my superman pajama pants.

How long do you guys think till I get to waist? Another inch or two?

I just hit BSL and I'm very happy with that. I have been growing since chin length, so it feels quite long to me. I love it, but I want my hair longer, longer, longer!! Can't wait 'till I hit waist^^ (I'm kind of short and my hair grows fairly fast

)

This is my length right now! As you can see, I still have a looooong way to go

My routine: CO wash on wednesday and sunday. In between the washes I use some nightblooming panacea salve on the ends. I rarely brush my hair (only with a BBB, to smooth my hair when I make updo's). I have a TON of conditioners, oils and butters. I think I have enough for 10 years.
