I'm pretty close to waist I think (at my longest layers). Hands are at hip!

Hi everyone! I thought I would join up with everyone that is waiting on waist length. I've been growing goalless until now. I'd spent forever ignoring how long my hair was, and one day I realized that it was BSL. So, now I've set my goal for waist length. I'm sure now that I have a goal, it's going to feel like its taking forever. I refuse to measure it because I know that I will become obsessed once I do, but I did eyeball it and I think I have about 3 - 4 inches until I'm at waist length. Hopefully I won't drive myself crazy waiting to get there.

The central heating has turned my hair into a fuzzy mess. It is about hip when wet and then the other day its was above waist - for the first time in months. A good oil seems to have sorted it out - think I may measure at the start of december when I should be a solid waist

I have 5-6 inches to go.... So I figure about a year to be on the safe side?! Though I am doing a lot for my hair I wasn't at first...

It seems I belong in this thread! I had thought I was waist all this time, but I forgot to factor in the three inch cut that I did back in September. I never wear my hair down because I am on the "wear your hair up" challenge, so I didn't notice its length until last weekend when I took pictures from the back. It was clear from the pictures that, to my surprise, I am about three inches above waist, which makes sense considering my three inch cut from waist.

So, I have defected from the waist to tailbone thread, and am joining you lovely ladies here.

I hope to be hip length a year from now.
