    Default The slipperiest conditioner

    Hey
I'm looking for à conditioner with lots of slip.
    So tell me
what's the slipperiest conditioner you've tried? And did it contain silicones or mineral oil?

I really liked the original Triple Nutrition by Garnier Fructis, and it was cone-free. Now it has amodimethicone, which I have no problem with.

I also like Hello Hydration by Herbal Essences, it's coney (cyclopentasiloxane and dimethicone).

I also liked Full Repair by John Frieda (very heavy on cones).

I remember there were some others I was impressed with, but I can't remember their specific names at the moment, sorry... Also, it's very YMMV. Some products may be perfect detanglers for some, but not for others.

Triple Nutrition ingredients: Water, cetearyl alcohol, palm oil, behentrimonium chloride, apple fruit extract, glycerin, stearamidopropyl dimethylamine, niacinamide, pyridoxine hci, shea butter, citric acid, olive fruit oil, sugar cane extract, benzyl alcohol, chlorhexidine dihydrochloride, avocado oil, black currant seed oil, linalool, lemon peel extract, CI 19140, camellia sinensis leaf extract, CI 15985, parfum.

Hello Hydration ingredients: water, stearyl alcohol, cyclopentasiloxane, cetyl alcohol, stearamidopropyl dimethylamine, dimethicone, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, cocos nucifera (coconut) milk, fragrance, glutamic acid, benzyl alcohol, edta, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, blue 1

Full Repair ingredients: WATER, GLYCERIN, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, DIMETHICONE, BEHENAMIDOPROPYL DIMETHYLAMINE, TRISILOXANE, CETYL ESTERS, STEARYL ALCOHOL, LACTIC ACID, FRAGRANCE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, QUATERNIUM-91, DIAZOLIDINYL UREA, CETRIMONIUM METHOSULFATE, GLYCINE, PLUKENETIA VOLUBILIS SEED OIL, MALIC ACID, STEAROXYPROPYL DIMETHYLAMINE, C14-28 ISOALKYL ACID, IODOPROPYNYL BUTYLCARBAMATE, C14-28 ALKYL ACID, TOCOPHEROL

Herbal Essences' Hello Hydration is the slipperiest of the ones I've tried (Aussie Moist, HE Moroccan My Shine, Garnier Triple Nutrition - the new yellow bottle - various V05 and Suave Naturals)

Meteor, is your Hello Hydration an older bottle? It does have a cone, Bis Aminopropyl Dimethicone, but my bottle's ingredient list is totally different.
Water, Stearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Cetyl Alcohol, Bis Aminopropyl Dimethicone, Zea Mays (Corn) Silk Extract, Orchis Mascula Flower Extract, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract, Fragrance, Benzyl Alcohol, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hydroxide, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Blue 1
Wavy, wurly, sometimes curly; on my way to healthier, longer hair!

^ Oh yes, probably, TrapperCreekD. HH also has different ingredients in different markets. Those ingredients are on Naturally Curly.

I agree! They want brand recognition and customer loyalty forever but they constantly change the products on offer anyway!
At some point, I just decided to never become dependent on a product (no matter how great) again. And if the product sucks, I just add some honey and/or oil or mix products together.

I just bought some Nexxus Humectress Ultimate Moisturizing Conditioner and was impressed by the slip it provided, especially right after I just clarified.

Joico Moisture recovery. So slippery I had to stop using, because my buns wouldn't hold.
