How do you have keratin done to it??
I have frizzy hair and it looks I can't ever use the flat iron as it damages my hair.
My dermatologist said it doesn't damage the hair or causes hair loss if its done on good healthy hair. If you already have bad hair or have hair loss issues you should skip the treatment.
Anyone had it?
What are your thoughts?

My understanding is that frizzy hair is often curly hair which is being handled as though it's straight hair. It's not the same, and shouldn't be treated the same. There's a wurly/curly thread here somewhere with some great tips, both on determining the level of curl and what to do with it. It helped me!

Yeah my hair has to be treated like curly, it has curl. If I don't it becomes a crazy poof ball.

Keratin itself is protein, it won't damage the hair. But a lot of those "keratin treatments" DO damage it, not to mention being all sorts of toxic.
Have you thought about trying Cassia? I had SUPER frizzy hair before I tried henna last week and my hair is wonderful now! Cassia should help with your hair the same way just without the color... something to think about anyway. I would imagine it's less expensive too so what do you got to lose?![]()
I got something on ebay that was a keratin protein treatment you put on your conditioner. You could blow fry and straighten to seal it or it took a while to air dry but you could. I did it, it worked wonders on my fried hair even without heat.
It's the blowdry and the straighter that could damage if not done right.
