    Default Frizz Appreciation Thread

I feel like frizz gets no love, but I personally adore it. I think it looks joyful and youthful and beautiful. I love undefined curls. I love Mia Thermopolis' frizzy hair before she became princess of Genovia. I love Maid Marian's frizzy hair in Prince of Thieves. I love all the "before" pictures I see of peoples' undefined curls on salon instagram pages. I love beautiful soft undefined afros. Frizzy doesn't mean dry or unhealthy or difficult. On me it actually means quite happy and moisturized hair that is carefree and allowed to be.

Show me your frizzy hair, tell me about frizzy hair that you love from tv and movies or celebs, and if you're having a hard time loving your own frizz or undefined curls come here for support and encouragement.

I don't love it, but my husband once said something so sweet when I complained about it.

"When the light hits it just right, it looks like you have a halo and reminds me what an angel you are."

    Here's some frizz for everyone:

That is so sweet! Looks beautiful, I love when the sun creates a halo. It reminds me of how things look in the hazy summertime, or during golden hour.

    Also what a cute dog!

This is a great idea for a thread! Spidermom, not only is your hair lovely, your smile is adorable : ) The slang for frizz where I grew up is "chispas" (like "sparks"), which your photo reminds me of.

Okay, I'm 110% going to think of my frizz and flyaways as my "sparks" from now on. That is so beautiful!

    What a great thread!
I don't even know if I should bother selecting a photo to post. I actually never realized how frizzy my hair was until I started taking pictures for the LHC. If my hair looks sleek, that's because it needs washed.

Spidermom, you inspired me to go take this picture on my balcony. Sunshine in frizz is its own particular beautiful thing!

I love this thread - the glowing frizz halos are beautiful!

Sorry for the blurry photo, but here's me at my frizziest - my hair is actually in twin Dutch braids here, but the wind and the humidity whipped it into a frizzy frenzy:

And so you can see where my goofy, happy smile comes from, here's the full photo look at how beautiful this place is (also, look how comically taller than me my boyfriend is)!

It's the Isle of Skye in Scotland, which is often shrouded in mist - very romantic, but also, absolute prime frizz conditions!
