I understand that I need to have 25 posts before I can start an album, so I tried signing up with Flickr to upload my pics but whenever I try to upload one of the pics here from the Flickr page it keeps saying "invalid code."
Also, whenever I click on my screen name, it says I do not have authority to go to that page, so I click on Settings and it takes me to my profile page.
Is there something I'm not understanding about how this whole thing works?

Can you paste an example of the code from Flickr you are using?

KoKonut the filters for blocking your page can't differentiate between your page and anyone else's, so if you go to look at your actual profile it will block you. Settings is you only, and you can't see anyone else's, so it's able to let you through! That's the only way you can edit your profile until you hit 25 posts.

As for photos, how are you trying to add them? Are you using the correct URL?

You need to use the BBcode. If that makes any sense...

And whenever I click on my pic I now see beside my screen name on here, it goes over to that same little do not have access message, same as if I try to click on anyone else's pic.

To post pictures from Flickr:

On Flickr while looking at the image you want to display look for the share icon - a curved arrow pointing to the right - located in the bottom right.
Click on that and it will open a pop up window. (If the icon doesn't display when the photo loads give it some time, it will appear.)

In the pop up click on the BBCode tab.

Select a size, I find the largest Medium option displays well on LHC.

Copy the full url from the box in the pop up window.

Paste all that code into your post.
