Bumping 'cause these threads are always fun. Here's mine http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/...ad.php?t=97119
I have neither brush nor comb in my house, but I do have a picture from before I went CG, when I still did brush regularly. Freshman year of high school. So awkward!
For reference, my hair curly at about the same length:
Wow! Those are quite the poofs!
I don't own a brush anymore (because of this thread, ironically)...so I'm finding it hard to take a picture.
Story related to this thread: Last night I was babysitting a very unruly three-year-old girl and she got out her ball-tipped paddle brush and kept trying to brush my hair. I took it out of its updo and told her she could touch it but I had to say "no brush, remember!" every 30 seconds. Sigh.
Before LHC I might have said to heck with it and let her brush just to see how big it would get, but knowing what I know now about ball-tipped brushes there was no way I was letting that near my head!
I took these pics for this thread today
ETA; Sorry, they're big!
I love the big hair I get when my hair is brushed out. I only wish it was that big with my natural curl pattern. Never to mind.

OK I recently brushed out my hair, after being CO for 1.5 weeks, because I was being frustrated by stubborn frizz. This reminded me why I went CO in the first place! I used a tangle teezer brush.
As a kid, my mom would say I needed to brush my hair *5 minutes after I had already brushed it*. lol! Brushes = not good for curls!
