    Default The Yurich!

I'm a big fan of carved antler hairtoys so I've been watching this shop for a while. I specifically loved this fork but resisted buying it for months- almost 3 months to be exact (it seems like more). But then he listed this! Reindeer antler! Really!? I just had to have it. In the process I also ordered the fork that I had been ogling for so long.

Fast forward to yesterday. This beautifully-wrapped little package comes in the mail. Darn it! It's adorable, gift wrapped for Christmas and completely covered with packing tape to make it all shiny and perfect. The paper is sooooo cute! There are even little mice decorating a tree. Geez.

So now I'm stuck in a dilemma. Do I open this now or wait for Christmas? It's gift wrapped and there is something really magical to me about opening a package with something made out of reindeer antler on Christmas. On the other hand....I could be wearing reindeer antler in the days leading up to Christmas. AGGGHHHH! But really, such a happy problem to have....

What do you all think? AND, has anyone ordered from this shop yet? I see he has a few sales but almost no feedback...

ETA: Whoops, I forgot to include the address of his Etsy shop!

There are a couple things I've been wanting from that store, but so far the ones I like are too short! I'd open it unless someone else bought it for me. I'm impatient. Lol

I'm having a haaaard time but the wrapping is so cute! Even though I know what's in there, it seems like it could be anything at this point. BTW, Did you see this? Seriously, this guy's stuff is driving me nuts.

It's all in one package that is covered with clear packing tape. I'm afraid if I open it, that it will be all over.

Open it now, in case something is wrong with your order. You need to jump on those things fast. Just in case, you know.

You know, I thought about that lapushka. The thing is, I can tell that there is NO rattle in the box and it arrived in perfect condition. I also contacted the shop owner and told him that even though the package arrived, I may not open it until Christmas. So far his communication has been great...if a little muddled by a possible translation program.

Wow, this shop is incredible. I've never been too keen on hairtoys made of antler, but I might reconsider. There are some stunning pieces, as is the one you've ordered lunesea
