In the last year and a half I've come across this forum many times while I've been looking into hair things (yet there still seems so much to read here!) and decided to finally join rather than lurk!
In my teens I had some lovely long hair a few inches past my bra strap, but since then I have abused my hair with a variety of cuts, bleach, dyes, heat appliances. I've spent the last year and a bit trying to grow out dye and generally make my hair healthier. My hair seems to be in good enough condition now to start growing it long. It's a bit difficult to say how long my hair actually is just now as it's heavily layered at the front and long at the back from a mixture of me wanting a cut that'd allow me to do 40's/50's inspired curls well and blending in a grown out fringe.
Hopefully with the help of LHC I'll eventually get my lovely long hair back
