As the title suggests, my hair is probably a very common type. I've been through every haircut/color there is- blue, a pixie, etc, and now it's somewhere between BSL and my waist, without about 7 inches of natural hair grown in. I decided a year and a half ago it'd be a brilliant idea to go blonde and deeply regret that, considering I bleached it multiple times (I'm a natural level 3/4).

It's taken a long time for my hair to feel (sort of) normal. I was really digging the Salma Hayek Nuance Blackberry Deep Treatment (or whatever its called), but I've noticed that my hair gets "used" to any conditioner I use and it stops working. I tried clarifying, but no dice. My hair is really rough, but I think it always was, even as a child. Perhaps there's no hope for me.

I also tried using henna a few times, but it dried it out so badly and faded so fast that I just didn't have the patience to keep doing it over and over.
