Default What henna to choose for the most orange/copper shade?

Currently leaning toward Moroccan but I am curious what others think. I am looking for the most warm toned orange/copper shade as opposed to fiery red.

From personal experience, Jamila was pretty orange on my hair (see my true hair color in my signature). Like a fiery orange (not Bozo The Clown orange) in the sunshine, and a deer/brown in shade. I loved that color. If only for the color I would do henna in a heartbeat, alas my hair can't cope with it that well (dry, brittle, etc. and I'm not just talking freshly washed out).

Which henna you choose doesn't make much of a difference at all. For a coppery shade, you're better off mixing with something like senna, although that will depend a lot on your starting colour. My hair is a dark ash blonde/light brown, and I got a fiery copper from Nightblooming's Genasi. If your starting colour is black, you're not getting copper without bleaching first.

You can see an experiment I did here with 6 types of high quality henna on human hair (including Moroccan), where the type of henna was the only variable.

It doesn't matter--they all stained the same color. If you want copper, you're going to have to cut the henna with another golden herb like cassia to dilute it to copper.
