Because of this enabling thread I bought a little skull girl hair stick from sparklepizza, she was just too cute for me to pass up!

This store makes barrettes, not hairsticks, but this thread seems an appropriate place to share it (if I should post elsewhere, let me know):

I just love the fantasy and steampunk flavor of these pieces!

I hope it is ok to say but we make antler hair sticks that are very cool (see profile or signature) I love to discover new artists doing hair sticks! Kimi

Has anyone ever gotten a Lalo Orna hairstick? I swear, resin is the best material for hairsticks. I am thinking of buying some resin and puring them into molds to make hairsticks... waterproof and totally hair-friendly.
Anyhow, here are Lalo Orna's stickks:

There is only one hairstick and slide left here, but there is more on Ebay. Her stuff is really hard to get. I am able to get some at Mohegan Sun casino - I live 2 hours away from there.
Enjoy!
I DO have some of her hairsticks! They were some of the first hairsticks I purchased when I began collecting them. I have the Bablylon, Rose, Caterpillar and the Elegant Gold Top.
The other nice thing about her hairsticks is that she makes them out of recycled resins. So even better for the environment. And you are sooooo right about the resin sticks being sturdy. I can't imagine breaking one. The curvy design gives then a good hold as well.
It's been a while since I've looked to see if she has any new designs. Now you've gone and tempted me.
Uh-oh.... Lalo Orna.... Yes, I second S&G above: now you've gone and reminded me how much I like her sticks -- seems I need another one....
ETA: I have an action pic of one of her sticks in my old album.
