I'd just leave it for now, maybe color over it later.
ok so I've just put some henna on a hair strand to test, it's 100% natural rajasthani henna, with a little bit of indigo and katam. I am a chemically dyed blond (the last highlights I did was in February) and now my piece of hair turned out green, I wanted a nice brownish color. I don't know what to do, it is way too dark and awfull, I don't want to cut the strand because it is still a little thick and it will show if I wear a ponytail or something since it's in the back of my head.
Pleeeaaase I need your help to save my hair!!!
I'd just leave it for now, maybe color over it later.
Put a smidgen of henna over the top of it. Then when you do your next text more henna in your mix.
Are you absolutely sure it's 100% fresh henna?
While indigo can produce slightly green-blueish colors on it's own, a completely green strand sounds like impure henna with green dye & potentially other additives.
it's more like a dark green color, the site where I bought it said it was natural. So I should just do a natural henna lawsonia on it know?
My understanding is your supposed to put indigo on after a complete henna treatment? Maybe you should have mixed the indigo and katam and applied later? try a salt or epsom salt wash to maybe get the dye to wash out quicker.
A 2 step henna/indigo is used for black shades. Different ratios of henna/indigo will produce browner shades. :)
Either the henna is too old, stored incorrectly, or mixed with something else.
It could also have gone past dye release when applied to the hair, and the indigo overpowered the result.
If it's the indigo, it should wash out with time. Especially if the henna didn't take properly.

well I prepared the henna first, waited several hours for the dye release and then prepared the indigo and katam and pour it into the henna paste. I will try to henna only on top of it, hoping it will help
Probably will help. The red should neutralize the green.
Doesn't sound like 100% pure to me. Hair only turns green if there are metallic salts added.
