    Default January photos!

I think the best thing LHC has inspired me to do is to take pictures of my progress. I've been feeling like my hair is dry, split, and breaking for the past few weeks. I've been shedding like crazy, and I was beginning to contemplate a cut.

Maybe it's the lighting in the kitchen, but I think it's looking good. My mini goal is APL (with my end goal being BSL), and I think I'll be there by spring.

The moral of the story? Take pictures! You might be surprised at your growth!

I washed my hair today, let it air dry, and had it in a sock bun for most of the day (hence the wonky hemline - it's actually straight across when not in a weird wave).

Wow, it looks so lovely and healthy and shiny and soft! (:

I think I'm going to start taking more progress photos. Whenever I do, I am usually surprised by how much my hair has grown.

    Very beautiful hair

I have very damaged hair from hair extensions, permanent hair straightening and chemically dyes, just started to take care of my hair recently, Dec.2011

Ok here 2 pictures, 1st one was 5 weeks back when I jointed this forum + post my 1st henna, 2nd one is today post my 3rd henna, I think there is very good difference in texture and the health of my hair, I'm not going to talk about the length now since its too early to compare, I'm so happy about the how's my hair is getting healthier, my motto is LONG HAIR = HEALTHY HAIR, there is no way you can have long hair without a healthy happy hair

    Pic # 1 = 5 weeks back = post 1st henna

Pic # 2= today = post 3rd henna (I hennaed last night, LOL)

I don't think it looks damaged or dry, and see no need for a cut. Keep up the good work.

Not surprised at mine at all... or lack there of. I guess I can say I am at "Almost Classic" length now rather than just TBL but having been at TBL for three years while working on the damaged hair is bumming me out... still refuse to cut back to APL though, so I just have to deal.

While my ends are see-through, they are not as dramatically see through as the bright green makes them out to be; hence the other photo of me in the chair to show how they really look. Still crappy.

My Jan photo is my signature pic... I agree, mine definitely looks better than it feels to me, but I also think I am developing hairnorexia. Your hair looks so lovely!
