I get an inch or more a month. I've grown from 22 inches to 34 in less than a year (WITH waves)
I am convinced that the common opinion that it is not possible to grow hair more than 1/2 inch a month is based on people who aren't trying to grow their hair and are not treating it with the special care that most of us here at LHC do. Maybe I'm wrong... My hair grows 3/4 inch a month when I take my high doses of biotin and I massage my scalp regularly. Not brushing helps ALOT, too. I was wondering if anyone has super fast growing hair and if so, what are your washing/care techniques and also do you take any vitamins or herbs to help growth? I'm excited to hear your opinions and recommendations!

^^ Your hair is growing fast, good for you! (:
My hair doesn't grow even half an inch in a month. I should buy biotin vitamins again, they helped my nails to get better, but I can't remember what it did to my hair (it must have effected some how). My hair grows really slowly.

My hair has always grown like a weed. I usually get about an inch per month, but there have been times that I have measured it as being more, but I attribute that to incorrect measurements. The least my hair has grown in one month was about 0.75". It has always grown this fast, even with extreme stress and poor diet.
I'm not taking any supplements at the moment, namely because I cannot afford them, but I might get some basic multivitamins when I can.
Is there ANYTHING that can make hair grow faster? Or is all the stuff that claims to just so much rubbish from phoney sales people?

My hair grows about half an inch a month normally, I'm not sure if the growth has really increased since I've started taking better care of it.

Lol, all of you guys getting an inch a month of growth are in your teens or early to mid 20's.
Enjoy it as it may not last! Mine used to grow an inch a month too by now I'm in my 30's it's less than half that. Only MN has ever made a difference and increased it.

Mine varies a lot, but since I've been charting it it's ranged from 3/4 inch to 1.2 inches. I take a hair skin and nails vitamin, drink 3 litres of water a day, and always eat 4 boiled eggs (for the protein) but to be honest I think it's hereditary, I don't really think you can alter it unless you're extremely malnourished and even then I think your hair would be more likely to fall out or be thin and weak...
