    Default Great Updo's

Does anyone have any great updos that they love and want to share? I LOVE to try out new updos and have a large collection of books with updos in them but not all of them are as tried and true as the people who publish the books say. I have a picture of one I tried out which has one side weaved and the other side smothed over it into a french twist. I would upload the pic but I can't figure out how

Some updos that I can't do now but look forward to in the future:

Hypnotica has a bunch of great updos and videos of how to do them here.

The Hair Style Dictionary is also a great resource that an LHCer put together.

Just today i thought of a new style that i have never seen anywhere and it looks good on BSL+ hair.

You do braided pigtails and insert a ficcare above the braids and just wrap the braids around it and pin if needed, it makes it look like you have loads of hair and is very comfy to wear

Lol, I've seen that style before. It's a braided chinese bun of sorts.

It's not exactly an updo but I always thought it was nice. You take your hair and pull it up to the crown of your head like your putting it in a REALLY high pony tail but instead of putting it in an elastic slowly twist it downward in either direction not too tightly but enough so it feels kinda stable then keep it in place with either a hair fork or bobby pins whatever floats your boat

Its basically an upside-down french twist its really nice for long hair because you can take your hair and sling it over your shoulder to give the look a nice romantic feel and it keeps most of your hair off your neck and completely out of your face.

Yeah your right it is but i hadn't seen it done with a ficarre, instead of wrapping the braids in opposite directions i wrap one braid one way and the other the other way other the top of the clip. I guess i need to post a pic to show what i mean
