Hello!
I just joined the Long Hair Community and I am so excited to learn more about growing and maintaining long, healthy hair.
I have had long hair almost all of my life. I started growing out my hair when I was 5 for ballet, and have kept it long ever since. I have also always cut, trimmed and dusted my own hair.
I do have very fine, very thin hair. Keeping it healthy is very difficult. I do not use heat or dye on my hair, which does help. I am lucky because my hair does respond well to conditioner only washes or condition-wash-condition despite its thinness.
My hair is currently a little lower than bra-strap length, but I would love to get it to waist length (and maybe even someday tailbone length).
I would love to thicken up my hair some, if possible. I am also interested in learning more hairstyles that work for straight, fine, thin hair. I have also been considering trying a henna glaze, but I am worried that it may not work on my hair type.
I look forward to learning more tips and tricks and getting to "know" all of you!
