When did your hair start to feel long to you?

Definitely hip. When it was at waist, it still felt short. Then it felt too long at tailbone as I would have to wear it up most of the time to prevent tangles and from it getting in the way of things. But with short hair, I've realized I don't like my hair in my face and I love braids. So to classic I go!

From the length of the hips, but sometimes I see girls in the city with similar hair and then it seems to me that mine is so short... weird.

Everything from APL makes me feel like I have long hair. But I never had really really long hair so far, that might change my perspective.

Years ago I had a tickling hair. I pulled at it and it came loose! Probably it was already shed, but still with the other hairs. For some reason I looked at this one hair and thought, "man, that looks pretty long, I wonder how long it is." It was about 3 feet long.... and suddenly I really felt like my hair was *long*.

That was a happy day.

APL is where I start to feel that its not short, long is around BSL. A graded transition

Just a few months ago, somewhere about HL+. I couldn't just easily "neglect" it (in a benign way). It was just taking over everywhere on me lol, especially at night. In the past, I never had to really think about my hair, but now I do and have to take more care. I'm glad I've gotten the hang of it now though because as pretty as it is, I was reeeally starting to feel overwhelmed by it! It was the first time that I thought, wow, so this is true long hair huh, and it's really intense lol.

I had a moment just this year when my hair was at ankle and loose and I walked by my full-length mirror and just went...holyyyy sh...

I mean I knew my hair was long way before that, but I just needed a minute, like maybe my hair really is TOO long

Now I look in the mirror and I'm like eh...that's normal. But seeing pictures of my hair down always blows my mind.
