When did your hair start to feel long to you?

Im at waist and I gotta say its feeling long. I think its also because I am short lol

My hair is also at waist and there are days when it feels longish. I think it generally starts feeling long to me when it starts brushing just below waist when I have it down.

My hair is around hip length when it’s wet but it still doesn’t feel long to me at all. When i see others with hair even shorter than mine i feel that their hair is long. But for some reason my hair never feels long to me.

Back in 2014 at age 17 when I finally got past APL after having short hair since I was 11 (cut from somewhere between waist and hip) it was just starting to feel long. Then I lost a battle with lice and shaved my head.
My hair hasn't been longer than collarbone since, and at that point I cut it because it was "too long" for me to deal with at the time. That was in December of 2017.

Now that I'm growing again, after 2 years straight of very short hair, it feels like it's getting long and I'm only at mouth length! It's so weird being able to tie it back somewhat, and having my bangs flop around in front my eyes.
Perspective really changes things. I totally understand how some people here think their waist-length (or longer...) hair is short. But considering my hair was 1/4th of an inch long last May, this is long for me! And I'm LOVING it

My hair feels long as soon as it passes my jaw haha! Shoulder length was the maximum length I've had the past decade

I cut from TBL to CBL june 2018, and I'm back at BSL now. It started feeling long again for me around APL

I am currently around Waist/Hip and I feel as if this is my medium length. I grew up having BCL so that’s my ‘normal’ and had it as short as a shaved pixie. I think that once I hit TBL or classic i may begin to feel that my hair is truly long.

Once I hit CBL I start to feel like I'm getting somewhere with it, but it's mainly APL because last year was the first time since I was little that I had such length!

I think it depends also from how we used to have the hair in the past. In all my teen years, I usually had my hair between APL and WL, with some exceptions (I cut it at SL about 2 times) so now my WL seems a normal length to me.
I also have to say that probably also the hemline make skme difference in our perception
