Video of Hair Under a Microscope

Stumbled upon a neat video on YouTube... a gradual zoom-in on hair strands, that shows all the structures. Cuticle, cortex, down to the melanin and individual cells. I thought it was pretty interesting, the scope goes up to about 6000000x.

Anyone else dorky enough to find this interesting?

Reminds me of the 'scope pictures in the damaged hair article.

Wow, video SEM. It's one of the new ones that give color at higher magnifications too.

We had a thread earlier on hair microscopy, but not quite that magnification.
