i'd just stick with a half-up.
Or! Ooh! You could order a second one and put one on either side of your head! i would totally do that. Heck, i do it anyway (sans covers), and i'm a grown woman!
I am very excited to have gotten new hairtoys today, but I really should have seen this coming -- one of the buncovers I got is way too small for all of my hair. I can fit a half-up bun into it just fine, but there's no way all of my hair is going in there. What are some pretty things I can do with a half-up bun in a cover? I was figuring something where I braid the rest of my hair and wrap it around the cover, but I'm incompetent with pins and wouldn't know how to do that part. I'd love to hear any suggestions y'all have for a too-small bun cover that I want to use anyway!
Thanks!

I totally did not even think of that possibility. It was a dollar ninety-nine at my local "beauty supply" store, so getting a second one should be no problem. I think I like it! Thanks!

i've actually been considering bun covers, but of a different sort. i have always been fascinated with Amish culture, and their headcoverings in particular. www.plainlydressed.com Open the drop-down menu and select 'headcoverings.' They also have Amish hairpins, which i understand to be the best pins for those of us with loads of hair.

I totally agree with the one-on-each-side thing. When I read the first post that was what I was immediately thinking of. I hope it works out well! (pics?)
