no I didn't (but i might ) I did fool my husband this morning, told him I saw out cat walking down the roof at out back neighbors house (very high roof). he ran to the window to see how on earth that lazy cat had done that hehe aprils fool
I think cuddledumplin posted the how to on the old site but I can't find the original instructions.
(the basic idea is to tie a long enough scarf or a ribbon at the end of your hair so that there is some scarf/ribbon hanging off on both sides, then roll it all up, and tie it over your head as if an alice band.)

Lol if I was going to see anyone today I would absolutely do that.
The BBC did an iPlayer ad where they had some flying penguins, presented as if it were a real find. They do something for April fools every year. It started in the 50s when they had a piece about money trees

@ trolleypup and redbark:
On a more serious note, I've sent the picture of my "haircut" (and a front shot) to my father, who not only bought it, but sent back an enthusiastic reply about how gorgeous it looks, and how much better it suits someone in my position (I teach at a uni)!!
The temerity.

Whenever I see that red thing(I mean fashion creation of course) in a thread or happen to come across it it always makes me think trolleypup is not actually a real life person but a long haired Dr seuss creation.
